rui worked with Ian Ritchie in the UK and Kas Oosterhuis in the Netherlands. he has contributed to the delivery of seminal projects across a range of sectors including cultural and large scale residential developments. rui acted as project architect for The Courtyard Theatre, built in Stratford-Upon-Avon for The Royal Shakespeare Company. rui also coordinated Ian Ritchie Architect's exhibition for the 2004 Venice Architecture Biennale and led the Dylon Site Re-Development, in London. In 2006, rui co-founded NOZ with inês sousa in Lisbon. NOZ have developed an strong portfolio of work in Portugal, helping private, commercial and public-sector clients to deliver their visions. The work of the practice includes leisure, education, retail and industrial projects. In addition NOZ continues to collaborate with his London partners, contributing to the design and construction of cultural venues and large scale housing developments.
